Our school
Junior Academy is a warm, small-scale school where every adult listens closely to each child's needs. An open, diverse setting that nurtures foreign languages from the earliest age — a natural extension of the family cocoon where children thrive at their own pace.

A small-scale bilingual private school, 20 min from Lyon
Junior Academy is one of the few Montessori schools in the Lyon area that offer full continuity, from nursery through the end of primary. Fewer than sixty children in total, spread across two mixed-age classes. This format promotes peer learning, lets each child move at their own pace and makes possible individual follow-up by the same team over several years.
Based in Saint-Genis-Laval, the school is easily reachable from Oullins, Pierre-Bénite, Sainte-Foy-lès-Lyon, Brignais and Francheville. A private car park and direct public-transport access (metro B + bus C10) make daily commuting straightforward for Lyon families.
Our project rests on three pillars: AMI-validated Montessori materials, French-English immersion from the youngest age, and constant attention to the child's wellbeing (organic and local meals, daily time outside, very small groups).
