Wednesday workshops

Wednesday Montessori workshops

In an immersive bilingual environment, your child lives English every day — naturally and spontaneously. Through concrete activities, interactions and varied experiences, they take on the language effortlessly while exploring, creating and learning at their own pace.

For children aged 3 to 5

Younger children work in a prepared environment that supports sensorial development, fine motor skills and language. They discover English gently, through hands-on activities and everyday exchanges.

For children aged 5 to 9

Older children deepen their learning and use English more actively — through games, creative projects, hands-on work, cultural activities and conversation. They build confidence in speaking.

Wednesday school in Lyon: bilingual Montessori workshops 3-9

Wednesday workshops at Junior Academy welcome children aged 3 to 9, whether or not they attend our school. They take place at 2 chemin de Lorette in Saint-Genis-Laval, in the school's premises, with the same teaching team that welcomes children during the week.

Each workshop follows a theme (creative arts, science discovery, bilingual cooking, sport, nature) carried in English by a native-speaking teacher. Children find a genuine time of discovery and language immersion — somewhere between an after-school activity and a small activity centre.

Bookings can be made by the day, half-day or full cycle. With around fifteen children per Wednesday, booking a few weeks ahead is recommended.
